Morden is one of our neighbouring areas — we're just up the road in Mitcham. We've been doing Morden moves for over a decade, from the family homes near Morden Park to the flats around the tube station at the end of the Northern Line.
We're The Yellow Van Company — a family-run removals firm with eight branded yellow vans, ready for any move in SM4.
You pack, we shift.
*Prices shown are guide estimates for local moves — every move is different, so your final quote will depend on the specifics of your job. Longer distances quoted on request.
We do everything.
Ring us for a five-minute ballpark, then a firm written quote after a short video call or visit. No deposits required to hold a date in most cases.
Mitcham-based — Morden is our next-door area. Often same-day service.
Right vehicle for any move.
Established 2011. Experienced team.
Direct contact, no call centre.
Real customers, real reviews.
Goods in transit and public liability.
Most work from recommendations.
A day or two before the move we drop off boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper and tape. On the day we turn up early and pack room by room. Fragile items are wrapped properly — plates upright in dish-pack boxes, glasses individually, pictures and mirrors blanket-wrapped, mattress in a fitted bag. Anything valuable (art, piano, instruments) just tell us at quote stage and we'll bring the right kit.
Everything gets labelled by room so it ends up where it should. We load carefully (heavier on the bottom, blankets between furniture), drive to your new home, and unload room by room. Any furniture we dismantled (beds, wardrobes, dining tables) goes back together at the other end.
When you're settled, we take all the empty boxes and packing materials away with us. No hallway full of cardboard for a month.
Most of SM4 has free on-street parking. Near the station and town centre there may be restrictions — we'll check before quoting.
The St Helier post-war estate has its own quirks — cottage-style houses with narrow paths and unique access. We know it well.
The 1930s semis around Morden Park are some of our regulars. Manageable access, decent driveways.
End of month busiest. Midweek cheaper.
